FLOATING LABORATORY FOR RESEARCHING ANTI-CORROSION MATERIALS AND SOLUTIONS<\/h2>\n

HarshLab is the first floating laboratory in Europe researching new developments for the offshore environment.<\/p>\n

It is moored at the BIMEP test site, 1.8 miles out to sea in an area with a sea depth of 65m. This location ensures 100% offshore trial conditions, perfect for assessing new materials and solutions against corrosion, ageing and fouling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this first version of the laboratory, up to 765 test standardised test-pieces and components can be evaluated in the splash zone, immersion zone and atmospheric zone.<\/p>\n
